Swift Fabrication Services Ltd is a welding and steel fabrication company based in Norwich, working for commercial and domestic customers across Norfolk, Suffolk and East Anglia. Our welders are fully qualified, share 25 years of collective experience and have worked for national companies. In our Norwich workshop we fabricate structural steel, from a single beam for an extension to frames, platforms and mezzanine floors, along with staircases, balustrades, gates, railings and architectural metalwork. On site we weld, repair, erect steelwork and install machinery in factories. We work from your drawings or your engineer's, and can help develop a design for fabrication. Every job starts with a free estimate, and the price is agreed with you before we start.

PRICED BEFORE WE START
Send us your drawings, a sketch or a few photos and we will give you a free estimate. We price carefully, explain what the figure covers and agree it with you before we cut any steel. If your budget is tight, say so and we will look at what can be done.
We work from your drawings or your engineer's, and where a design is not finished we can help develop it for fabrication. Structural calculations come from your structural engineer. We build to them and tell you early if a detail is awkward to make or fit.

We review your drawings or visit to measure up, then send a free estimate. The price is agreed with you before any steel is ordered or cut.
We cut, drill, weld and dress the steel in our Norwich workshop to the agreed drawings. Primer, paint, galvanising or powder coating can be arranged.
We deliver to site and install, erect or hang the work, lined, levelled and bolted up. Supply only is fine if your own team is fitting.

We can help make your design practical to fabricate and fit. Structural sizes and calculations must come from your structural engineer. For repairs, tell us the material and what access and power are available on site.

Areas we coverYes. Most structural work is made to the engineer's drawings and calculations you supply. If the design is not finished, we can help develop it for fabrication. We do not certify structures, so the calculations stay with your structural engineer.
See structural steel fabricationYes. We work for homeowners as well as businesses. A single steel beam, a garden gate, a run of railings or a small welded repair are all welcome. The estimate is free and we are happy to tailor the work to a smaller budget.

We can also provide site welders to help your own team complete a job, whether that is pipework, structural work or a shutdown, in your factory or on your site across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Mobile welding serviceYes. We deliver and install what we make, from beams into existing buildings to frames, mezzanines, platforms and staircases. Lifting is planned with suitable plant, with crane hire arranged where needed. Supply only is fine too if you have your own fitters.
