Construction and builders
Every sector has its own drawings, deadlines and site rules. We learn yours before we start.
Construction is a large part of what we do. Builders, developers and main contractors across Norfolk and Suffolk come to us for steel beams, UB and UC columns, goalpost frames, lintels and full steel frames, made to the structural engineer’s drawings, drilled, welded, primed and delivered to site.
We also erect what we make. Lifts are planned with suitable plant, connections are bolted up, lined and levelled, and RAMS are provided before we arrive. We fit in with the main contractor’s programme and the other trades, and we can supply site welders when a job needs extra hands to finish.

Some of this work comes to our Norwich workshop. Much of it happens on your site, so we travel with our own welding plant and power.

Mobile welding on farmsOur managing director’s recent work has been in the water industry, so we know how these sites run. We weld stainless pipework and flanges, and make and install pipe supports, plant bases, access platforms and handrails.
Machinery installationAround Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft we make access steelwork, walkways and handrails and carry out repairs for port, offshore energy and marine trades. Salt air is hard on steel, so galvanising or a suitable coating can be arranged.

Factories and food producers across Norfolk and Suffolk use us for machinery installation and moves, production line repairs, fabricated bases, guarding, access platforms and modification welding during planned shutdowns.

Property, retail, hospitality
Landlords, fit out contractors, shops, pubs and restaurants use us for architectural metalwork: feature staircases, balustrades, balconies, canopies, screens and shopfit frames in mild or stainless steel, with clean dressed welds.
We work from your architect’s or designer’s drawings and build stairs and balustrades to the dimensions your designer or Building Control specify. Fitting can be timed around trading hours.
Architectural metalworkHomeowners across the region
We make driveway gates, side gates and railings to measure in our Norwich workshop, then deliver and hang them. We fabricate and fit the steel only. Brick piers and automation are for your builder or installer.
Building an extension or knocking through? The steel beam usually comes through your builder, made to your structural engineer’s drawings. Small jobs are welcome and estimates are free.

Yes. We work for commercial and domestic customers. Homeowners come to us for gates, railings, balustrades and steel beams, often through their builder. Estimates are free on any size of job.
Yes. We plan around production, follow your site rules and permits, and provide RAMS before we start. Shutdown, weekend and out of hours work can be arranged. Tell us your window early.
Coded welders are available on request. Tell us the standard or welder coding your job calls for and we will confirm what we can supply before you place an order with us.
We cover Norfolk, Suffolk and East Anglia, from King’s Lynn to Lowestoft and south to Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. Longer trips are planned by arrangement.
