You do not need a finished drawing or the right section sizes before contacting us. Tell us the opening, span, load or problem, send photos and rough dimensions, and say where the job is. Mention any engineer's details you already have.
We work from your drawings or your engineer's, and can help develop a design for fabrication. Structural calculations come from your structural engineer. You get a free estimate, and the price is agreed with you before we start.

Made in the workshop or welded on site?
New steelwork is made in our Norwich workshop, where it can be cut, drilled, welded and primed under cover. Repairs and alterations to things that cannot be moved are done on site by our mobile welders.
Many jobs use both: made in the workshop, delivered, then erected or fitted by the same team. Our process page sets out each stage, from first enquiry and site survey to installation.

Fabrication is done at our Norwich workshop, and our welders and erectors travel across Norfolk, Suffolk and East Anglia. We cover Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Thetford, Dereham, Wymondham, Attleborough, Diss and Beccles, and further out to King's Lynn, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.

Do you take on small and domestic jobs?
Yes. We work for commercial and domestic customers, from a single gate or steel beam to a full building frame. Send us the details and we will tell you whether it is one for us. We are happy to tailor a job to a smaller budget.
Can one enquiry cover fabrication and installation?
Yes. Most structural jobs are made in our workshop, then delivered and erected by the same team. Tell us everything you need in one enquiry and we will price each part clearly.
Can you supply a coded welder or work to a standard?
Coded welders are available on request. Tell us the standard or welder coding your job calls for and we will confirm what we can supply before you commit.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Norwich and work across Norfolk, Suffolk and the wider East Anglia region. For jobs further out, we plan the travel into the work.
