Swift Fabrication Services Ltd is a small team of fully qualified welders with 25 years collective experience, much of it gained working for national companies. We make structural and architectural steelwork in our Norwich workshop and weld on site across Norfolk and Suffolk. Need a coded welder? We can help with that too.
The business is led by Managing Director Chris Clayton, who has spent two decades in structural and mechanical engineering, most recently on work in the water industry. Chris is known for his attention to detail, and that sets the standard for every job that leaves our workshop.

From workshop to site
Our services cover structural frames, feature metalwork, site repairs and machinery in factories.
Beams, columns, frames, mezzanines, platforms, staircases, balustrades, gates and railings, made in mild or stainless steel to your drawings or your engineer's. Finishes such as primer, paint or galvanising can be arranged.
Our welders come to farms, factories, building sites, yards and homes, and we can bring our own power. MIG, TIG or MMA as the job needs. For a breakdown, call at any hour and we will tell you how soon we can be with you.
We erect structural steelwork, fit beams into existing buildings and install mezzanines, platforms and stairs. In factories we position, level and bolt down machinery and fabricate bases, guarding and supports.
How we price and plan the work
Every job starts with a free estimate. We look at the drawings, the materials and the site conditions, then price the work carefully so the figure you see is one we can stand behind. If something is unclear, we ask before we quote.
The price is agreed with you before we start. If the job changes once we are on site, we talk it through with you before carrying on. We work for large contractors and single households alike, and we are happy to tailor the work to a smaller budget.
