Commercial architectural steel
The front of house at a factory matters.
Customers, auditors and new recruits all judge a business by its entrance, its reception and its offices.
Thetford is a manufacturing and food town, with large sites on Fison Way, Brunel Way and the Thetford Enterprise Park and logistics sheds along the A11. Most steel on those sites is purely functional. But when a unit is refurbished, offices go in above the shop floor or a new tenant wants a proper entrance, the job becomes architectural metalwork, and Swift Fabrication can make it.
It is made in mild or stainless steel to drawings from your architect, fit out contractor or facilities team. On an industrial site the piece has two jobs: look tidy, and survive pallet trucks, wash downs and heavy boots. So we talk about section sizes, kick plates and fixings as well as appearance. If the steel carries load, the numbers come from your structural engineer.
