Older units around Sweet Briar Road and Hellesdon often have tight doors and worn slabs. We check the route first, lift with toe jacks, roll the machine in on skates, shim it level, then drill the floor and fit anchors to the maker's hole pattern.
Base frames, equipment stands for labs at Norwich Research Park, guarding, platforms and pipe supports are all made in our own workshop in the city, in mild or stainless steel as the job needs.

Working around your shifts
Norwich food producers and manufacturers rarely have a spare day to give. With the workshop close by, we can split a job into evening or weekend visits, bring steel over when it is needed and agree the order of work with your engineers before we arrive.
A note on city sites: many Norwich units share yards, have low roller doors or sit on busy roads such as Sweet Briar Road. Tell us the door height and width, where a lorry can stand and any delivery time limits, so the lift is planned around them.

We measure the route before the day. Most machines go in on skates once lifted with toe jacks, sometimes with guards or legs removed by your engineers. Where a forklift or crane is needed, it is hired in and the method agreed with you.
